These are the baseline conditions for authorized use of the platform. The goal is to make scope, operational authority and participant obligations obvious before someone enters the competition environment.

Platform terms

Short legal sections are easier to respect than decorative legal pages with weak hierarchy.

Authorized use only

PWN the room is intended only for authorized cybersecurity training, competitions and challenge delivery explicitly offered by the platform. Use outside these bounds is not permitted.

No abuse or unauthorized exploitation

Participants may only attack intended challenge targets and assigned lab resources. Attempts to disrupt the portal, shared services, platform infrastructure, other participants or systems outside intended scope are prohibited.

Operational changes

Challenges, rewards, availability windows, scoring logic, infrastructure controls and event terms may change without prior notice when required for fairness, safety, legal compliance or platform stability.

Challenge interaction and service analytics

To operate the platform, maintain performance and improve training quality, PWN the room records technical interaction data related to account activity, challenge usage, lab lifecycle, submissions, hints, downloads and other competition events.

Aggregated intelligence use

The platform may use aggregated and anonymized challenge and training analytics to identify broader cybersecurity trends, challenge effectiveness and skill-development patterns without exposing raw participant credentials or unnecessary personal data.
